Poems By Janie

So many poems have come & went
To think of them now
‘Tis only a glimpse
Of memories, thoughts, and inspirational moments
A fleeting past of mixed emotions
Some good, some bad, some only contemplative
For me right now
Can be only deforestation
Trimming through what was and could be
To think of thoughts now
Of how I was me

Twilight sparkle on the end of an eve
Reflection beyond waters seen
Time spent for one is good for none…
Other than those experiencing
Blessed are the moments we can hold dear
Never to be faltered by outside influence
As only can be so quickly undone
By secondary perception
So let it be upon dawn’s arrival
That the reflective gleam
Continue to be the dream

Weeding, pulling, sorting
Searching for precious abundance
A fragrant memory, a visual stimulant
The push of a leaf
I continue to seek what was there before so fond
A remini-sense of shared moments
Learning, truths apparent
An awakening, its there
Found, now happy, all this thyme
To see its actually marjoram

Soon it is, another fest of Elvin jest
A welcome home, a smiling gnome
Twittering in flight, its fairies delight
Loading in, working to prep
It’s myself, at home an elf
Scoot, scoot, scoot, and shovel along
Around the poll it’s a troll
Shuffling feet and shouting “Move along”
As it should be, with a gleam
I smile a big sigh of relief
So, to drop my grief
And revive is magnifique!
I’m alive!I’m at home so Blessed Be!
