Elvin H.O.M.E.

We are currently in the process of remodeling the large greenhouse attached to Long Hall. The ultimate goal is to be able to grow plants in it all through the spring, summer, and fall, and extend our growing season by starting plants for the garden earlier in the spring. We would also like to make it a beautiful spot to spend time in, for reflection and relaxation, by making it a magically beautiful space. Our dream is to create things like a coy pond with a solar powered waterfall and sitting area.

It has never been used for it's original purpose before, and ended up being used as storage. It has a lot of work to be done on it. We intend to create both a pressurized filtered city watering system and a rainwater collection(off the roof of the long hall). It is in desperate need of proper ventilation to control the temperature inside(at the moment in can exceed 110 degree's during the daytime). The fiberglass covering needs to be resealed with silcone caulking and many more things. If you would like to help with this project, please email.
